इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें बड़े और छोटे भाईका पारस्परिक बरतावनामक एक सौ पाँचवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi antargate dānadharmaparvaṇi baḍe ca choṭe bhrātroḥ paraspara-vyavahāra-nāmakaḥ ekaśata-pañcamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
Así concluye el capítulo centésimo quinto, titulado «Conducta mutua entre el hermano mayor y el hermano menor», dentro de la sección de Dāna-dharma del Anuśāsana Parva del sagrado Mahābhārata. La fórmula de cierre señala la culminación de una enseñanza sobre el recto comportamiento familiar como parte del dharma: la ética del respeto, el deber y la responsabilidad recíproca entre hermanos.
