अस्माभि: खाण्डवप्रस्थे युष्मद्वासो 5नुचिन्तित: । तस्माज्जनपदोपेतं सुविभक्तमहापथम्
asmābhiḥ khāṇḍavaprasthē yuṣmadvāso 'nucintitaḥ | tasmāj janapadopetaṃ suvibhaktamahāpatham ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana dijo: “Hemos dispuesto con reflexión vuestra morada en Khāṇḍavaprastha. Por ello, es una región bien poblada, con grandes calzadas trazadas con orden y claramente delimitadas, digna de un asentamiento y un gobierno regidos por la norma.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Good governance begins with foresight and orderly planning—providing a secure, well-connected, and properly organized territory for those who are to live and rule there.
