इति निश्चित्य मनसा जरत्कारुर्भुजड़मा । तमृषिं दीप्ततपसं शयानमनलोपमम्,मन-ही-मन ऐसा निश्चय करके मीठे वचन बोलनेवाली नागकन्या जरत्कारुने वहाँ सोते हुए अग्निके समान तेजस्वी एवं तीव्र तपस्वी महर्षिसे मधुरवाणीमें यों कहा--“महाभाग! उठिये, सूर्यदेव अस्ताचलको जा रहे हैं
Translation
Habiendo tomado esa decisión en su fuero interno, Jaratkāru, la doncella nāga de palabras dulces, se dirigió con voz amable al gran ṛṣi Jaratkāru, resplandeciente como el fuego y de austeridad ardiente, que yacía dormido: «¡Oh afortunado! Levantaos; el dios Sol se encamina al ocaso».
