विप्रशापाभिभूते च क्षीणायुषि नराधिपे । घटमानस्य ते विप्र सिद्धि: संशयिता भवेत्,“विप्रवर! महाराज परीक्षित् ब्राह्मणके शापसे तिरस्कृत हैं और उनकी आयु भी समाप्त हो चली है। ऐसी दशामें उन्हें जिलानेके लिये चेष्टा करनेपर तुम्हें सिद्धि प्राप्त होगी, इसमें संदेह है
Translation
«¡Oh, el más excelso de los brahmanes! El gran rey Parīkṣit está abatido por la maldición de un brahmán, y su vida se halla ya menguante. En tal estado, aunque te empeñes en devolverle la vida, es dudoso que alcances el éxito.»
