Jaratkāru’s Marital Compact and Departure (जरत्कारु–जरत्कारुणी संवादः)
त॑ दृष्टवा जीवितं वृक्ष काश्यपेन महात्मना । उवाच तक्षको ब्रह्मन् नैतदत्यद्भुतं त्वयि
taṁ dṛṣṭvā jīvitaṁ vṛkṣaṁ kāśyapena mahātmanā | uvāca takṣako brahman naitad atyadbhutaṁ tvayi ||
Al ver que el árbol había sido devuelto a la vida por el magnánimo Kāśyapa, Takṣaka dijo: “Oh brahmán, esto no tiene nada de asombroso en ti.”
