Takṣaka’s agency, Parīkṣit’s rites, and Janamejaya’s enthronement (वैयासिक परम्परा-प्रसङ्गः)
एवमुक्तस्तु धर्मात्मा शौनकः प्राहसत् तदा । उग्रश्रवासमामन्त्रय उपपन्नमिति ब्रुवन्,उम्रश्रवाजीके ऐसा कहनेपर धर्मात्मा शौनक उस समय खिलखिलाकर हँस पड़े और फिर उग्रश्रवाजीको सम्बोधित करके बोले--'तुम्हारी बात उचित है”
evam uktas tu dharmātmā śaunakaḥ prāhasat tadā | ugrāśravasam āmantrya upapannam iti bruvan ||
Así interpelado, el justo Śaunaka soltó una sonora carcajada en aquel instante. Luego, llamando a Ugrāśravas, respondió: «Lo que has dicho es apropiado y correcto».
