उग्रश्रवाः सूतः नैमिषारण्ये — Sauti at Naimiṣāraṇya

स चाप्यस्मिन् मखे सौते विद्वान् कुलपतिर्द्धिज: । दक्षो धृतव्रतो धीमाउ्छास्त्रे चारण्यके गुरु:,सूतनन्दन! वे विद्वान् कुलपति विप्रवर शौनकजी भी इस यज्ञमें उपस्थित हैं। वे चतुर, उत्तम व्रतधारी तथा बुद्धिमान हैं। शास्त्र (श्रुति, स्मृति, इतिहास, पुराण) तथा आरण्यक (बृहदारण्यक आदि)-के तो वे आचार्य ही हैं

Y también aquí, oh Sauti, en esta sesión sacrificial, está presente el erudito brahmán Kulapati: diestro, firme en sus votos y sabio. En las disciplinas sagradas del śāstra y en los textos del bosque (āraṇyakas), es tenido por verdadero maestro, oh hijo del Sūta.
