उग्रश्रवाः सूतः नैमिषारण्ये — Sauti at Naimiṣāraṇya

यत्र ब्रह्मर्षप: सिद्धा: सुखासीना धृतव्रता: । यज्ञायतनमा॒श्रित्य सूतपुत्रपुर:सरा:,तदनन्तर विप्रशिरोमणि शौनकजी क्रमश: सब कार्योंका विधिपूर्वक सम्पादन करके वैदिक स्तुतियोंद्वारा देववाओंको और जलकी अंजलिद्वारा पितरोंको तृप्त करनेके पश्चात् उस स्थानपर आये, जहाँ उत्तम व्रतधारी सिद्ध-ब्रह्मर्षिगण यज्ञमण्डपमें सूतजीको आगे विराजमान करके सुखपूर्वक बैठे थे
yatra brahmarṣayaḥ siddhāḥ sukhāsīnā dhṛtavratāḥ | yajñāyatanam āśritya sūtaputrapuraḥsarāḥ ||
«(Fui) a aquel lugar donde los brahmarṣis consumados —firmes en sus votos— estaban sentados con sosiego, acogidos al recinto del sacrificio, con el hijo del Sūta (Ugraśravas) colocado al frente.»
