उग्रश्रवाः सूतः नैमिषारण्ये — Sauti at Naimiṣāraṇya

सो<थ विप्रर्षभ: सर्व कृत्वा कार्य यथाविधि । देवान् वाम्भि: पितृनद्धिस्तर्पयित्वा55जगाम ह,तदनन्तर विप्रशिरोमणि शौनकजी क्रमश: सब कार्योंका विधिपूर्वक सम्पादन करके वैदिक स्तुतियोंद्वारा देववाओंको और जलकी अंजलिद्वारा पितरोंको तृप्त करनेके पश्चात् उस स्थानपर आये, जहाँ उत्तम व्रतधारी सिद्ध-ब्रह्मर्षिगण यज्ञमण्डपमें सूतजीको आगे विराजमान करके सुखपूर्वक बैठे थे
so ’tha viprarṣabhaḥ sarvaṃ kṛtvā kāryaṃ yathāvidhi | devān vāgbhiḥ pitṝn adbhiḥ tarpayitvā jagāma ha ||
Entonces aquel más excelso de los brahmanes, tras cumplir debidamente cada observancia prescrita, satisfizo a los dioses con alabanzas védicas y a los antepasados con libaciones de agua; y después se encaminó al lugar donde los sabios consumados, firmes en sus votos, estaban sentados con sosiego en el recinto del sacrificio, habiendo colocado al Sūta en el asiento principal.
