Vālakhilya-Tapas and the Birth of Garuḍa (वालखिल्यतपः-गरुडोत्पत्तिः)
प्रसन्नसलिलै श्वापि हदैर्दिव्यैर्वि भूषितम् । दिव्यगन्धवहै: पुण्यैमारुतैरुपवीजितम्,स्वच्छ जलवाले कितने ही दिव्य सरोवर उसकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। दिव्य सुगन्धका भार वहन करनेवाली पावन वायु मानो वहाँ चँवर डुला रही थी
prasannasalilaiḥ śvāpī hradāir divyair vibhūṣitam | divyagandhavahaiḥ puṇyair mārutair upavījitam ||
Estaba engalanado con lagos celestiales de aguas claras y serenas. Brisas puras, portadoras de fragancia divina, parecían abanicar aquel lugar como un chauri ceremonial, evocando un ámbito de santidad, buen augurio y calma interior, más que de agitación mundana.
