सौतिरुवाच तत: कामगम: पक्षी कामवीर्यों विहंगम: । अरुणं चात्मन: पृष्ठमारोप्य स पितुर्गहात्‌

Transliteration

sautir uvāca tataḥ kāmagamaḥ pakṣī kāmavīryo vihaṅgamaḥ | aruṇaṃ cātmanaḥ pṛṣṭham āropya sa pitur gṛhāt ||

Translation

Dijo Sauti: Entonces aquel ave, veloz como el propio deseo y dotada de una fuerza capaz de cumplir los anhelos, alzó a Aruṇa sobre su lomo y partió de la casa de su padre. El episodio subraya la acción con propósito y el deber filial: el poder y la rapidez no se orientan al alarde, sino al cumplimiento de una obligación debida a los suyos.
