Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
एकवर्षनन्तरास्त्वेते द्रौपदेया यशस्विन: । अन्वजायन्त राजेन्द्र परस्परहितैषिण:,राजेन्द्र! ये यशस्वी द्रौपदीकुमार एक-एक वर्षके अन्तरसे उत्पन्न हुए थे और एक- दूसरेका हित चाहनेवाले थे
ekavarṣānantārās tv ete draupadeyā yaśasvinaḥ | anvajāyanta rājendra parasparahitaiṣiṇaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Oh el mejor de los reyes, estos ilustres hijos de Draupadī nacieron uno tras otro con intervalos de un año, y estaban entregados al bien del otro.»
