Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
वनन््दे द्रौपदी भद्रा प्रेष्याहमिति चाब्रवीत् । और उसने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ उस अनुपम वधूको अनेक आशीर्वाद दिये। तदनन्तर पूर्ण चन्द्रमाके सदूश मनोहर मुखवाली सुभद्राने तुरंत जाकर महारानी द्रौपदीके चरण छूए और कहा--'देवि! मैं आपकी दासी हूँ”
vande draupadī bhadrā preṣyāham iti cābravīt | tataḥ sā bahu-prasannā tām anupamāṁ vadhūṁ nānāśīrbhir abhinandya | tadanantaraṁ pūrṇa-candra-sadṛśa-mano-hara-mukhī subhadrā tvaritaṁ gatvā mahārājñyā draupadyāḥ caraṇau spṛṣṭvā uvāca—“devi, ahaṁ tava dāsī” |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «(Subhadrā) se inclinó ante Draupadī y declaró: “Soy tu asistente.” Luego, con gran júbilo, otorgó muchas bendiciones a aquella novia incomparable.
