Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
सुभद्राका कुन्ती और द्रौपदीकी सेवामें उपस्थित होना प्रीत्या परमया युक्ता आशीर्भिय्युज्जतातुलाम् । ततो$भिगम्य त्वरिता पूर्णेन्दुसद्शानना
Subhadrā ca Kuntī ca Draupadī-sevāyāṃ upasthitā prītyā paramayā yuktā āśīrbhir yujjatātulām | tato 'bhigamya tvaritā pūrṇendu-sadṛśānanā ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: Subhadrā, dedicada a servir a Kuntī y a Draupadī, estaba colmada del más alto afecto y ofrecía bendiciones incomparables. Luego, apresurándose, se acercó a ellas—con el rostro radiante como la luna llena—señalando una humildad respetuosa y el ideal ético de honrar a los mayores y a las coesposas mediante un servicio sincero.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights gṛhastha-dharma: harmony in the household is sustained through humility, affectionate service (sevā), and honoring elders and family members with sincere blessings rather than rivalry.
Vaiśaṃpāyana describes Subhadrā attending upon Kuntī and Draupadī with deep affection, offering blessings, and then quickly approaching them—her moonlike face emphasizing her respectful, auspicious presence.
