Subhadrā-haraṇa: Arjuna’s Taking of Subhadrā and the Dvārakā Assembly’s Response
vaiśampāyana uvāca | anupraveśe yad vīra kṛtavāṁs tvaṁ mama priyam | sarvaṁ tad anujānāmi vyalīkaṁ na ca me hṛdi ||
The verse emphasizes ethical evaluation by intention and outcome: when an action is genuinely beneficial and pleasing (priya) to the rightful authority, it is explicitly sanctioned (anujñā), and the speaker clarifies the absence of inner resentment (no vyalīka in the heart).
A hero has entered inside (anupraveśa) and performed an act that the speaker considers favorable. The speaker responds by granting permission/approval for that act and assures that there is no displeasure or sense of offense in his heart.
