Arjuna Restores a Brāhmaṇa’s Cattle and Accepts Forest Exile
Satya-vrata at Khaṇḍavaprastha
एतद् विदित्वा तु भवान् प्रस्थापयतु पाण्डवान् । द्रष्ट हि पाण्डुपुत्रांश्व त्वरन्ति कुरवो भूशम्,यह जानकर आप पाण्डवोंको हस्तिनापुर भेज दें। समस्त कुरुवंशी पाण्डवोंको देखने और मिलनेके लिये अत्यन्त उतावले हो रहे हैं
etad viditvā tu bhavān prasthāpayatu pāṇḍavān | draṣṭuṃ hi pāṇḍuputrāṃś ca tvaranti kuravo bhṛśam ||
«Sabiendo esto, envía a los Pāṇḍavas en camino (a Hastināpura). Pues los Kurus arden en deseo de ver y encontrarse con los hijos de Pāṇḍu.»
विदुर उवाच
Vidura urges timely, prudent action aligned with dharma: once the situation is understood, one should act without delay to maintain familial harmony and respond to legitimate social expectations.
Vidura advises that the Pāṇḍavas be sent to Hastināpura, noting that the Kuru elders and kinsmen are intensely eager to see and receive the sons of Pāṇḍu.
