A capable minister, grounded in wisdom and sound policy, must uphold the king in crisis; such loyal counsel protects the stability of rule and supports righteous governance (rajadharma).
The minister, described as advanced in age and excellence (wisdom, fame, and political prudence), physically helps the king rise; once the king is restored, the minister’s anxious distress is relieved.
