Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
नक्तं दिनमथैकत्र स्थिते तस्मिउजनाधिपे । अथाजगाम विप्रर्षिस्तदा द्वादशमे5हनि,वे रात-दिन एक ही जगह खड़े होकर तपस्यामें लगे रहे। तब बारहवें दिन महर्षि वसिष्ठका (वहाँ) शुभागमन हुआ
naktaṁ dinam athaikatra sthite tasmin ujanādhipe | athājagāma viprarṣis tadā dvādaśame 'hani ||
Aquel señor de los hombres permaneció en pie en un mismo lugar, practicando austeridad de noche y de día. Y al duodécimo día llegó allí el sabio brahmán Vasiṣṭha, cuya venida fue tenida por auspiciosa.
