वेदे धनुषि चाचार्यमभिजानामि तेडर्जुन । विश्रुतं त्रिषु लोकेषु भारद्वाजं यशस्विनम्,अर्जुन! तीनों लोकोंमें विख्यात यशस्वी भरद्वाजनन्दन द्रोणको भी, जो आपके वेद और थधरनुर्वेदके आचार्य रहे हैं, मैं अच्छी तरह जानता हूँ
vede dhanuṣi cācāryam abhijānāmi te 'rjuna | viśrutaṃ triṣu lokeṣu bhāradvājaṃ yaśasvinam ||
Dijo el Gandharva: «Oh Arjuna, conozco bien al maestro que te instruyó en los Vedas y en el arte del arco: Droṇa, el ilustre hijo de Bharadvāja, cuya fama resuena en los tres mundos».
