ब्राह्मण उवाच उपपन्नं सतामेतद् यद् ब्रवीषि तपोधने । न तु दुःखमिदं शक्यं मानुषेण व्यपोहितुम्,ब्राह्मणने कहा--तपोधने! आप जो कुछ कह रही हैं, वह आप-जैसे सज्जनोंके अनुरूप ही है; परंतु हमारे इस दुःखको मनुष्य नहीं मिटा सकता
brāhmaṇa uvāca | upapannaṃ satām etad yad bravīṣi tapodhane | na tu duḥkham idaṃ śakyaṃ mānuṣeṇa vyapohitum |
Dijo el brahmán: «Lo que dices, oh mujer rica en austeridades, es en verdad propio de los virtuosos. Pero este dolor nuestro no puede ser apartado por el mero esfuerzo humano».
