Bhīma’s Search for Water and the Forest Halt
तदा शत्रुस्वनं श्र॒त्वा भ्रातृभि: सहितो5नघ: । अयाज्जवेन कौन्तेयो रथेनानादयन् दिश:
tadā śatrusvanaṃ śrutvā bhrātṛbhiḥ sahito 'naghaḥ | ayāj javena kaunteyo rathenānādayan diśaḥ ||
Entonces, al oír el rugido del enemigo, el intachable hijo de Kuntī—Arjuna—junto con sus hermanos, se lanzó hacia delante a gran velocidad, haciendo resonar en todas direcciones el estruendo de su carro.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Courage and duty are shown through prompt, controlled action in the face of danger—responding decisively while remaining ethically grounded (anagha, ‘blameless’).
Arjuna, accompanied by his brothers, hears the enemy’s shout and immediately drives forward at high speed, his chariot’s rumble echoing through all directions.
