जतुगृहदाहः — The Burning of the Lac House and the Pāṇḍavas’ Concealed Escape
पार्थ यत् ते कृतं कर्म विशेषवदहं ततः । करिष्ये कह | मा55तमना विस्मयं गम:,“कुन्तीनन्दन! हे इन दर्शकोंके समक्ष जो कार्य किया है, मैं उससे भी अधिक अद्भुत कर्म कर दिखाऊँगा। अत: तुम अपने पराक्रमपर गर्व न करो”
pārtha yat te kṛtaṃ karma viśeṣavad ahaṃ tataḥ | kariṣye tato 'pi vismayaṃ gamayiṣyāmi kuntīnandana | ataḥ tvaṃ sva-parākrameṇa mā garvaṃ kṛthāḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Oh Pārtha, la hazaña que has realizado aquí ante estos espectadores es, en verdad, notable; pero yo llevaré a cabo una proeza aún más asombrosa que ésa. Por tanto, oh hijo de Kuntī, no te envanezcas de tu propio valor.»
