Droṇa–Drupada Saṃvāda and Droṇa’s Reception at the Kuru Court (द्रोण-द्रुपद-संवादः; कुरुनगरप्रवेशः)
पाण्डुरुवाच एवमेतत् पुरा कुन्ति व्युषिताश्वश्चकार ह | यथा त्वयोक्तं कल्याणि स ह्वासीदमरोपम:,पाण्डु बोले--कुन्ती! तुम्हारा कहना ठीक है। पूर्वकालमें राजा व्युषिताश्वने जैसा तुमने कहा है, वैसा ही किया था। कल्याणी! वे देवताओंके समान तेजस्वी थे
Pāṇḍur uvāca: evam etat purā Kunti vyuṣitāśvaś cakāra ha | yathā tvayoktaṃ kalyāṇi sa hvāsīd amaropamaḥ ||
Pāṇḍu dijo: “Así fue en verdad, Kuntī. En tiempos antiguos el rey Vyuṣitāśva obró exactamente como tú lo has descrito. Oh dama auspiciosa, era radiante, como uno de los dioses.”
