धर्म्यमर्थसमायुक्तमुवाच वचन हितम् | कौसल्ये धर्मतन्त्र॑ त्वां यद् ब्रवीमि निबोध तत्
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
dharmyam arthasamāyuktam uvāca vacanaṁ hitam |
kausalyē dharmatantre tvaṁ yad bravīmi nibodha tat ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Ella pronunció palabras justas, acordes con el provecho práctico y beneficiosas. «Oh Kausalyā, tú que sigues la disciplina del dharma, atiende y comprende bien lo que voy a decirte.»
