Shiva
It frames Linga worship as seeking Shiva’s prasāda, by which the universe itself remains regulated; the devotee aligns with that divine order (maryādā) through puja.
Shiva is presented as Pati—the sovereign who both activates and withdraws all shaktis—showing Him as the ultimate governor of manifestation and cessation, not merely one force among others.
The key practice implied is prasāda-oriented devotion—Linga-puja and Pashupata discipline performed to receive Shiva’s grace, which loosens pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (soul).
