Suta Goswami (narrating the teaching within the Linga Purana’s cosmological/experiential framework)
It frames embodied practice (adhibhūta) as a disciplined sequence—taking up offerings or duties, proceeding in ritual intent, releasing (tyāga/visarga) and culminating in ānanda—supporting Linga-puja as a path that refines gross action into Shiva-oriented worship.
By placing ānanda as the culmination beyond gross processes, it hints that Shiva-tattva is the ultimate ground of bliss (Pati), while the pashu’s embodied cycles of taking and releasing belong to the adhibhūta level and are to be ordered toward liberation from pasha.
A practical karmic-yogic sequencing: accept what is to be accepted (including mantra/vrata/offerings), proceed in right action, perform visarga (letting go—offering, surrender, or regulated emission), and stabilize the mind in ānanda—an orientation compatible with Pashupata discipline.
