ज्ञानिनः सर्वपापानि जीर्यन्ते नात्र संशयः क्रीडन्नपि न लिप्येत पापैर्नानाविधैरपि
jñāninaḥ sarvapāpāni jīryante nātra saṃśayaḥ krīḍannapi na lipyeta pāpairnānāvidhairapi
Para el jñānin, todos los pecados se consumen y se desgastan: de ello no hay duda. Aun cuando actúe en el mundo como quien juega, no queda manchado por pecados de muchas clases.

It frames Linga worship as leading to Shiva-tattva-jñāna, where papa (demerit) is exhausted and the devotee is no longer inwardly stained even amid outward activity.
By implication, Shiva as Pati grants liberating knowledge that dissolves pasha (bondage); when the pashu abides in that jñāna, karmic stain cannot adhere.
The focus is jñāna-yoga aligned with Pāśupata intent: inner realization (supported by Shiva-bhakti and Linga-upāsanā) that burns karmic impurities rather than mere external ritual alone.
