FAQs

It establishes the puranic transmission (paramparā) with reverence and frames Linga devotion as worship of the supremely pure Pati, making purity (śuddhi) and humility central to Linga-pūjā.

Śiva is praised as śuddha and nirmala—untainted by māyā and karmic limitation—indicating the Siddhāntic view of Śiva as the ever-pure Lord (Pati) whose glory is intrinsic, not acquired.

The key practice implied is śiva-namaskāra (salutation) with bahumāna (deep reverence), a foundational attitude for Pashupata-oriented sādhana and for entering Linga-pūjā with inner purity.
