It frames Linga worship as inseparable from Shakti: the Lord (Pati) is approached with His manifest Power, whose iconography and retinue signify protection, auspiciousness, and the grace that loosens pasha (bondage) for the pashu (soul).
By presenting the Divine Mother attended by celestial sons, the verse implies Shiva-tattva as Pati who is never without Shakti—His immanent power that manifests form, protection, and divine order around the transcendent Linga.
It supports Shakta-Shaiva upachara in Linga-puja—invoking Devi and attendant deities as parivara-devatas—aligning the practitioner in Pashupata-oriented discipline where grace (anugraha) aids the soul’s release from bonds.
