Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

श्रुतयः श्रुतिसारं त्वां श्रुतिसारविदो जनाः

śrutayaḥ śrutisāraṃ tvāṃ śrutisāravido janāḥ

Los Vedas te proclaman como la esencia misma de la śruti; y quienes conocen de verdad la esencia de los Vedas te reconocen (como la Realidad suprema).
