Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्
गृहमेधिनः पुराणास् ते धर्मस् तैः सम्प्रवर्तितः तेषां द्वादश ते वंशा दिव्या देवगुणान्विताः
gṛhamedhinaḥ purāṇās te dharmas taiḥ sampravartitaḥ teṣāṃ dvādaśa te vaṃśā divyā devaguṇānvitāḥ
Aquellos antiguos cabezas de hogar (gṛhamedhin), por las tradiciones que establecieron, pusieron en movimiento la corriente del Dharma; de ellos surgieron doce linajes: familias divinas dotadas de las cualidades de los dioses.
