Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्
स्थावरेषु विपर्यासस् तिर्यग्योनिषु शक्तितः सिद्धात्मानो मनुष्यास्तु ऋषिदेवेषु कृत्स्नशः
sthāvareṣu viparyāsas tiryagyoniṣu śaktitaḥ siddhātmāno manuṣyāstu ṛṣideveṣu kṛtsnaśaḥ
En los seres inmóviles (sthāvara), la conciencia está invertida y velada; en los animales (tiryagyoni), actúa sólo según un poder limitado. Pero en el ser humano el Sí mismo puede perfeccionarse, y en los ṛṣis y los dioses se manifiesta por completo: así se muestra el desvelamiento gradual de la conciencia del paśu bajo el Señor, Pati.
