Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्

मन्वन्तरेण चैकेन सर्वाण्येवान्तराणि च कथितानि भविष्यन्ति कल्पः कल्पेन चैव हि

manvantareṇa caikena sarvāṇyevāntarāṇi ca kathitāni bhaviṣyanti kalpaḥ kalpena caiva hi

Al describir siquiera un solo Manvantara, quedan implícitamente explicados todos los ciclos intermedios; del mismo modo, al hablar de un Kalpa, se esclarece la naturaleza de los Kalpas.
