Shloka 40

प्रसाद-ज्ञान-योग-मोक्षक्रमः तथा व्यास-रुद्रावतार-मन्वन्तर-परम्परा

सनकश् च सनन्दश् च प्रभुर्यश् च सनातनः ऋभुः सनत्कुमारश् च सुधामा विरजास् तथा

sanakaś ca sanandaś ca prabhuryaś ca sanātanaḥ ṛbhuḥ sanatkumāraś ca sudhāmā virajās tathā

Sanaka y Sanandana; Prabhu y Sanātana; Ṛbhu y Sanatkumāra; así como Sudhāmā y Virajā: estos venerables sabios se enumeran como portadores de la corriente de conocimiento śaiva, inclinados al sendero que conduce al paśu (alma individual) más allá del pāśa (atadura) hacia la realización de Pati (el Señor Śiva).
