Adhyaya 4: अहोरात्र-युग-मन्वन्तर-कल्पमान तथा प्रलयान्ते सृष्ट्युपक्रमः

कल्पार्धसंख्या दिव्या वै कल्पमेवं तु कल्पयेत् कल्पानां वै सहस्रं तु वर्षमेकमजस्य तु

kalpārdhasaṃkhyā divyā vai kalpamevaṃ tu kalpayet kalpānāṃ vai sahasraṃ tu varṣamekamajasya tu

En verdad, la medida divina se cuenta como la mitad de un kalpa; así debe concebirse el kalpa de este modo. Mil kalpas semejantes constituyen un solo año del No Nacido, Aja: el Señor trascendente, Pati, más allá de todo tiempo creado.
