FAQs

It frames ritual life within a sacred, “divine” reckoning of time—reminding that Linga-puja is most fruitful when aligned with ordained kala, which is ultimately governed by Shiva as Mahakala.

By presenting time as a fixed divine ordinance, it implies Shiva’s lordship over kala: for Shaiva Siddhanta, kala is a pasha (bond) regulating the pashu (soul), while Pati (Shiva) remains the transcendent ruler of time.

Time-discipline (kala-niyama): selecting and honoring sacred time-units for vrata, japa, and Linga-archana—supporting Pashupata-oriented practice through regular observance and measured sadhana.
