Asimismo, tras recitar los himnos solares y los mantras nacidos de los Vedas Ṛg, Yajus y Sāma, debe hacerse la pradakṣiṇā; y después, circunvalar tres veces el fuego sagrado, Vibhāvasu (Agni).
Suta Goswami
It prescribes a Shaiva-vaidika sequence: recitation of Vedic and solar hymns followed by pradakṣiṇā, integrating mantra (śabda) and reverential movement (kriyā) as offerings to Shiva’s worship.
By placing Vedic mantra-recitation and circumambulation at the center of worship, the verse implies Shiva as Pati—the supreme Lord who is approached through disciplined rite and inner reverence, with Agni and Sūrya serving as sanctifying powers within his worship.
Pradakṣiṇā (clockwise circumambulation) and thrice-circling the sacred fire after japa—an outer rite that supports inner steadiness and purification aligned with Pāśupata-oriented discipline.
