Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
Indirectly: it emphasizes disciplined, authorized practice (anujñā) and mantra-purification, implying that inner realization is supported by outer sanctification and order (dharma), a common Purāṇic bridge between ritual and inward spiritual aim.
Japa (mantra-recitation) with āvāhana (invocation) and consecration of supports (water and tila). In Kurma Purana’s broader soteriology, such regulated japa functions as a preparatory purification that complements yogic restraint and devotion.
