सर्वेषामेव भूतानां वेदश्चक्षुः सनातनम् / अधीयीताप्ययं नित्यं ब्राह्मण्याच्च्यवते ऽन्यथा
sarveṣāmeva bhūtānāṃ vedaścakṣuḥ sanātanam / adhīyītāpyayaṃ nityaṃ brāhmaṇyāccyavate 'nyathā
Para todos los seres, el Veda es el ojo eterno. Por ello debe estudiarse cada día; de lo contrario, se cae de la brahminidad (brahminhood), es decir, del estado y la disciplina de un verdadero brāhmaṇa.
