By showing Mahādeva as “pratyakṣa” (directly manifest) and “bhagavān” (the Blessed Lord), the verse points to the Supreme as not merely conceptual but experientially knowable through divine revelation and grace.
The verse emphasizes the fruition of sādhana: when devotion, austerity, and disciplined practice mature, the deity can become “pratyakṣa” (directly realized). This aligns with Purāṇic yoga where inner purity and single-pointed worship culminate in darśana and anugraha (grace).
It presents Śiva (Mahādeva/Nīlalohita) as the supreme bestower of grace within a Purāṇic framework that often harmonizes Śaiva and Vaiṣṇava currents—divine boons and liberation-oriented gifts arise from the same ultimate divinity manifesting in different forms.
