FAQs

This verse links bodily purification with mental purification by prescribing Hari-smaraṇa, specifically as immanent in Vāyu (prāṇa), so routine acts become dharmic and spiritually focused.

By emphasizing prāṇa (Vāyu) and remembrance, it points to inner discipline: the soul’s well-being is supported by purity and steady devotion, which the Garuda Purana repeatedly treats as essential for favorable post-death outcomes.

Turn daily hygiene and dressing into brief moments of mantra or mindful remembrance of Vishnu—building consistent devotion and purity without needing extra ritual time.
