गिरयो हि निगीर्णत्वादयनात्तु शिलोच्चयाः / तत स्तावासमुद्धृत्य क्षितिमंतर्जलात्प्रभुः

Transliteration

girayo hi nigīrṇatvādayanāttu śiloccayāḥ / tata stāvāsamuddhṛtya kṣitimaṃtarjalātprabhuḥ

Translation

Por haber sido ‘tragados’ se les llama giri, y por ser elevadas acumulaciones de roca, śiloccaya. Entonces el Señor los alzó y sacó la tierra desde las aguas interiores.
