The Lord’s Supervision of Embodiment: Fetal Development, Womb-Suffering, and the Jīva’s Prayer (Garbha-stuti) — and the Trap of Māyā
The culmination of yoga is full Kṛṣṇa consciousness. This is affirmed in Bhagavad-gītā: a person who is always thinking of Kṛṣṇa in devotion is the topmost of all yogīs. And in the Second Chapter of the First Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, it is also stated that when one becomes freed from material contamination by rendering devotional service unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead, he can at that time understand the science of God.
This verse warns that association driven by sensual attraction—especially indulgent attachment to women—prevents one from reaching the goal of yoga and is described by realized devotees as a doorway to hell.
Kapila is teaching Devahūti the path of liberation: steady bhakti and yoga require detachment from lust and sense-based relationships that bind the soul to repeated birth and death.
Cultivate respectful, dharmic relationships, avoid media and company that inflame lust, and redirect the mind through disciplined habits and devotional service (hearing, chanting, and serving the Lord).
