Nārāyaṇa-kavaca — The Armor of Lord Nārāyaṇa
yan no bhayaṁ grahebhyo ’bhūt ketubhyo nṛbhya eva ca sarīsṛpebhyo daṁṣṭribhyo bhūtebhyo ’ṁhobhya eva ca
This verse prays that fears arising from grahas (planets), ketus (portents), hostile people, animals, and bhutas (spirits) be dispelled—showing that divine shelter is sought against all sources of danger.
Because the kavacha is a comprehensive prayer for protection, addressing both seen and unseen causes of fear—cosmic, human, animal, and subtle disturbances.
When anxiety arises from circumstances inside or outside your control, use devotional remembrance and prayer as a spiritual “shield,” cultivating steadiness rather than panic.
