Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds
This verse identifies Śiśumāra as the son of Doṣa and Śarvarī and states that he is a kalā—an empowered partial manifestation—of Lord Hari.
“Hareḥ kalā” means a partial portion or manifestation of Lord Hari (Viṣṇu), indicating divine empowerment and connection to the Lord’s potency.
By recognizing that all power and auspiciousness ultimately rest in the Supreme Lord, one can cultivate humility, devotion, and reliance on Hari rather than pride in temporary abilities.
