Puṁsavana / Viṣṇu-vrata: Worship of Lakṣmī-Nārāyaṇa for Auspicious Progeny and Fortune
विष्णोर्व्रतमिदं बिभ्रन्न विहन्यात्कथञ्चन । विप्रान् स्त्रियो वीरवती: स्रग्गन्धबलिमण्डनै: । अर्चेदहरहर्भक्त्या देवं नियममास्थिता ॥ १९ ॥ उद्वास्य देवं स्वे धाम्नि तन्निवेदितमग्रत: । अद्यादात्मविशुद्ध्यर्थं सर्वकामसमृद्धये ॥ २० ॥
viṣṇor vratam idaṁ bibhran na vihanyāt kathañcana viprān striyo vīravatīḥ srag-gandha-bali-maṇḍanaiḥ
Después, se debe recostar al Señor en Su morada sobre Su lecho y colocar ante Él lo que se le ofreció. Luego se ha de tomar prasāda para la purificación del ser y para la plenitud de todos los deseos; así, esposo y esposa quedan purificados y alcanzan lo anhelado.
This verse instructs that while observing a Viṣṇu-vrata one should not violate it in any way, maintaining steady discipline and daily devotion.

Offer your food to the Lord with sincerity (as best as you can), then accept it as prasāda—cultivating gratitude, restraint, and inner purification through devotional mindfulness.
