वृत्रमभ्यद्रवच्छत्रुमसुरानीकयूथपै: । पर्यस्तमोजसा राजन् क्रुद्धो रुद्र इवान्तकम् ॥ १५ ॥
vṛtram abhyadravac chatrum asurānīka-yūthapaiḥ paryastam ojasā rājan kruddho rudra ivāntakam
Oh rey Parīkṣit, como Rudra airado corrió antaño hacia Antaka para darle muerte, así Indra, con gran ímpetu, arremetió contra Vṛtrāsura, el enemigo rodeado por los jefes de los ejércitos asúricos.
