Mahārāja Sagara, Kapila Muni, and the Deliverance of the Sixty Thousand Sons
This verse shows that by humility, proper respect, and following dharma, King Sagara recovered the horse and completed the remaining sacrifice, indicating perseverance guided by righteousness.
Sagara recognized Kapila’s exalted spiritual position and sought his favor; by honoring the sage with submission and circumambulation, he appeased him and regained the sacrificial horse.
When plans are disrupted, respond with humility and respect toward wise and saintly persons; calm, dharmic conduct helps resolve conflicts and complete one’s duties without ego.
