मूढे भर द्वाजमिमं भर द्वाजं बृहस्पते । यातौ यदुक्त्वा पितरौ भरद्वाजस्ततस्त्वयम् ॥ ३८ ॥
mūḍhe bhara dvājam imaṁ bhara dvājaṁ bṛhaspate yātau yad uktvā pitarau bharadvājas tatas tv ayam
Bṛhaspati dijo a Mamatā: «¡Mujer necia! Aunque este niño haya nacido en la esposa de un hombre por la semilla de otro, debes criarlo; su nombre es Bharadvāja». Mamatā respondió: «Oh Bṛhaspati, críalo tú». Tras decir esto, ambos se marcharon; así el niño fue conocido como Bharadvāja.
