Nārada’s Arrival, the Nine Yogendras, and the Foundations of Bhāgavata-dharma
यथा विचित्रव्यसनाद् भवद्भिर्विश्वतोभयात् । मुच्येम ह्यञ्जसैवाद्धा तथा न: शाधि सुव्रत ॥ ९ ॥
yathā vicitra-vyasanād bhavadbhir viśvato-bhayāt mucyema hy añjasaivāddhā tathā naḥ śādhi su-vrata
Oh señor fiel a tu voto, instrúyeme con claridad, para que por tu misericordia me libere fácilmente de la existencia material, llena de peligros diversos y que nos mantiene atados al temor por doquier.
The word mucyema is significant here. In the previous verse Vasudeva stated that because he had been bewildered by the illusory energy of the Lord he could not achieve from the Supreme Personality of Godhead the boon of liberation. Therefore he is now approaching the pure devotee of the Lord, confident that by the mercy of the Lord’s devotee he will certainly achieve liberation from material bondage.
